Community Involvement in Paradise Package with Fundacion A. Jean Brugger


Enjoy a relaxing vacation while also giving back to a community in need. Spend 6 nights in sunny San Juan del Sur swimming, surfing, and helping with one of two school programs offered by Fundacion A. Jean Brugger. Volunteers will have the choice to participate in one of the following projects:

Clean Team (1 day project, appx. 3 hours total in length).
Cleaning supplies are expensive on a school budget. Spend an afternoon helping students and teachers at a rural primary school in San Juan del Sur clean their classrooms.  Kids will learn about the importance of having a clean environment and how to easily maintain it.

Smart Art (1-2 day project, appx 3 hours per afternoon).
Volunteers will help students and teachers at a rural San Juan school to paint a mural on their building. The children will participate in a “Creative Development Workshop” where they will learn painting and drawing techniques and this artistic process will help them enhance their abilities in other areas of school.

Both packages include:

  • 7 days / 6 nights stay in an ocean or garden view casa for four people
  • Participation in one of the above school projects (Clean Team or Smart Art)
  • Art or Cleaning materials (A portion of your package cost will go towards the purchase of cleaning and/or art supplies for the project of your choosing)
