Sunset Ceremony Package includes:
- Wine and flowers waiting in your room upon arrival
- Pelican Eyes sunset sail for up to 15 people: This outing can be a great mixer for your wedding guests. Service includes a limited bar and appetizers. Transportation to and from dock is included.
- Seasonal tropical flower arrangements: Your collection includes a bridal bouquet, 1-3 bridesmaids’ bouquets, 1 groom’s boutonniere, 1-3 groomsmen’s boutonnieres, table centerpieces (based on table settings of 8) and 2 large bouquets.
- Wedding cake: A three-tiered beauty featuring moist vanilla cake with slivered almonds, Amaretto liquor and buttercream.
- Photographer for up to 8 hours. High-resolution digital photos will be provided for you on DVD within one month of your wedding date.
- Wedding ceremony. Choose from either a sunset service on our upper deck overlooking the bay OR a bilingual Catholic church ceremony in Paroquia San Juan Bautista
- Guitarist during your ceremony and cocktail hour
- Cocktail hour directly following the ceremony. (Beverage cost not included.) Guests will enjoy a signature drink (Macu· or your personal choice) and three passed appetizers chosen from our special events list of appetizers.
- Full reception at La Cascada, with a DJ and a champagne toast. Select three gourmet entree options from our exclusive menu, each to be served with a fresh side salad.
- Honeymoon: you’ll enjoy one night’s luxury accommodations, on the house.
PLUS – All Onsite Wedding Packages include:
- Wedding coordinator/consultant
- Our wedding coordinator will work with you before and during your wedding to ensure that everything goes smoothly. She will take care of all on-site coordination and vendor contracts – from scheduling your officiate to booking your spa appointments.
- Pre-wedding meeting
- We invite you to visit us and speak personally with our consultant before your wedding. During your visit, you’ll receive 10% off your accommodations for two nights. You’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy a private tasting at La Cascada Bar & Restaurant, where you can sample fares from our special appetizer, dinner, dessert and wine menus. This tasting will be charged to your room, then credited to your final wedding bill once the contract is signed.
- Professionally chauffeured, air conditioned transportation to and from Managua Airport for the Bride and Groom
- Personalized welcome letter to your guests from the hotel staff, including wedding details, wedding and wedding guests’ room extensions, etc.
- One welcome beverage at check-in for each guest
- Private use of our air-conditioned conference room for three days—for family get-togethers, storage of gifts and decorations, wedding preparation, etc.
Note: we’ll be happy to personalize your wedding package per your needs and interests— you can do things like add a videographer, change your flowers or add a group excursion.
Wedding packages do not include:
- Additional Accommodations
- Cocktail hour and reception beverages (these costs are based on actual consumption)
- Rehearsal dinner (We are happy to provide this at an additional cost, or offer suggestions for excellent restaurants in or around San Juan del Sur.)
- Most transportation
- Additional Excursions and tours
Wedding package details:
- We require a non-refundable deposit of US $500 to hold your date
- Your group will receive a 15% discount on accommodations if we receive a signed contract and 50% deposit 6 or more months in advance
- Your group will receive a 10% discount on accommodations if we receive a signed contract and 50% deposit 3 or more months in advance
- Wedding parties must block a minimum of 5 rooms for at least 3 nights, and will receive an additional 5% discount if more than 10 rooms are blocked for at least 3 days.
- Minimum of 40 guests (prices are not pro-rated for smaller groups)
- Maximum of 100 guests
- Wedding groups of 50 or less have the option of using either Bistro La Canoa or La Cascada Bar & Restaurant
- Weddings of 50 or more must be held at La Cascada Bar & Restaurant
- La Cascada Bar & Restaurant and Bistro La Canoa close at midnight. If your reception runs late, you’ll be charged US $500 plus tax for each additional hour past midnight
