Join the Social Media Revolution
Pelican Eyes Hotel & Resort is becoming part of the social media revolution by joining Twitter. According to a recent article in the New York Times, small businesses typically get more than half of their customers through word of mouth and Twitter is the digital manifestation of that. Margarita Mondays
Pelican Eyes has inaugurated each Monday as Margarita Mondays. We serve up Mexican specials that will make your mouth water! Select from beef, chicken or veggie fajitas, tacos, seafood enchiladas and burritos. And what's a Mexican night without 2 for 1 margaritas, Coronas and tequila shots! Come enjoy the food and the atmosphere with our very own LIVE mariachi band! From 6 pm until 9 pm every Monday in La Cascada Bar & Restaurant.

 

Gift Shop
Located next to Bistro La Canoa, take a moment to browse our developing Gift Shop. We are continuously looking to promote products that support socially and environmentally conscious efforts. A few featured organizations are Slightly Twisted Spoons, Filosofias Vebeche Cayetana, Opportunity International and Fauna & Flora international. You can also pick up a Pelican Eyes Sailing t-shirt or hotel polo, hat and/or mug!

 

Destination Weddings
Many couples are choosing to go abroad for their very special day. Our breathtaking views of the bay and our infamous sunset ceremony have become the chosen getaway. This year we have already held four sunset wedding ceremonies on our upper deck, poolside, overlooking the Pacific. In 2008 Pelican Eyes Hotel & Resort hosted six destination weddings ranging from 80 – 120 guests and 1 vow renewal ceremony. 

Many destination wedding packages have been developed to choose from, and include the option of a tradition ceremony in the local Catholic Church, on our upper deck at sunset and even the choice of a ceremony at sea on our very own Pelican Eyes sailboat!
